Well I been rather busy lately, well for one I finally got myself a DIEHARD!!! workout partner
(He's a Bodybuilder as well)
So I've been getting back to my old gym regiment and have been gaining my size and strength back ever so gradually...

That doesn't mean I haven't been drawing though I've been slamming out scraps for my Indy and Titanic projects at a rapid pace as I get better and better at drawing FG characters.

Well I've almost got every LEGO Indy kit now!!!
I just bought "the River Battle" and "Jungle Cutter sets...
That now only leaves the 2 BIG sets!!!
("The Temple of The Crystal Skull Set" -
and the "Peru Airport Set"...

The Airport set will pobably be the next one since it's rare and hard to find.
I also plan to install some new shelves to display my LEGO Indy collection...

(I'll be posting some pics in my next update to my page...)

Also I've got some more plot material for my upcoming Indy story...
It will involve the following things
* (The secrets of the lost Library of Alexandria
* A henchman battle on board the RMS Olympic
* Time Travel
* A world ruled by Hitler (Germania)

I will begin scripting this story once I've read all the Indy books and comics up to the time period I've got this story placed in so I have all the orignal material and do not copy events of his pervious adventures.

Speaking of stories as I told I have not cancelled my "When Kevin Met Meg" Story
I had a computer problem and lost chap 3!!!
(This made me VERY MAD!!!)
So I stayed away from the project for a while...
Anyhow, I'm pleased to announce that I have begun work on my second version of chap 3
also chap 4 will deput immediately after chap 3, due to the huge delay between chaps 2 and 3...

Well I've been out for a few days...
I needed to work on a few other non-DA related things...

Well anyhow.
The weeks been going pretty well my Indy Legos came in and I quickly assembled them...
Plus the animals haven't bothered any of them which is definitely a good thing...

I did pull a moron move and lost one of Indy's little Lego fedora hats...
Of all things... I had shoved the figure in my pants and forgot about it.
I rediscovered it at work.
But when I got home, his little hat was gone!!!

(Now when I lose a piece to something, I SERIOUSLY!!! LOSE MY SANITY!!!)

so drove all the way back into town and spent TWO HOURS!!! searching the stupid Food Lion parking lot trying to find it...to no avail.
And successfully wasting $8.00 in gas on this stupid trip!!!
Well I found that I can get a new one from Lego.com
But I got to wait 3 weeks for delivery...
Crap!!!

Well at least I can get it replaced.

Also bought Lego Indiana Jones for PS2
MAN THAT GAME IS AWESOME!!!
The original stories are told very acurately!!!
With little deviation from the original screenplay.

Speaking of Indy I've almost finished my test page for Kevin/Indy in Last Crusade and will hopefully post it in a few days.
Also I've got two more characters cast...

I cast Herbert as the Grail Knight from
"Last Crusade"
(Insert Pedophile gag here
(Herbert swooning over Kevin/Indy and Chris/Sallah.)
And Ernie the Giant Chicken as the Boxer Indy fights in Raiders.
(FG Nuts would know this is exactly the same as the gag from "Blind Ambition")

I'm PO'd with the way he has developed over the past season becoming more of an ass rather than being funny.
(He is perfect for the role of Belloq only, he would be that stupid to open the Ark!!!)

*LOIS*
Now I'm PO'd with her as well especially for the way she treats Meg, I wanted to cast her as Elsa but I figured a 40 year old woman seducing a 17 year old Kevin would be to (GAG!) for my taste!!!
(I Need to find a good role for her that is not a minor role, possibly a villiness,
(I was thinking Irina Spalko from "Crystal Skull"?)

*CHRIS*
I like Chris, I was mad at him for his attitude in "Long John Peter" But I still perceive him as the dumb shy kid from the first seasons.
(I cast Chris as Sallah because in my mind I can see him fit the character rather well.)

*MEG*
A everyone knows by know I'm a HUGE! fan of the fan-coupling between Meg and Kevin!!!
(So This role was pretty well casted.)
("Raiders" should be rather interesting to do due to the aggitated chemistry between Indy and Marion in the film...)

*BRIAN*
Now I love Brian, but oddly he is rather hard to cast I want to give him a major role but I DO NOT want to make him a villian (Nazi Etc
I can't do that to Brian...
(Right now I'm having the hardest time casting him...)

*STEWIE*
Stewie just plain gets on my nerves now, and he obviously has to play a villian, He was perfect for Toht!

I needed a character younger than 17 yr old Kevin to play Short Round, Cleveland Jr. fit perfectly age and personality wise!

*JOE*
Since Kevin plays Indy Joe just had to play Henry Jones Sr.
(Look forward to working on this for the tension and bickering between Indy and his old man in "Last Crusade" is one of my favorite aspects of the series.)
Now Henry Sr. is not a parapalegic so when I get to cetain scenes; I may have to modify the story some and work Joe's limittions into the story.)

*BONNIE*
Unlike my Titanic comic I'm having a rather hard time casting her.

*KEVIN*
As everyone knows BY NOW... Kevin Swanson is my favorite character on Family Guy!!!
Due to him paralleling my own personality and life almost to the dot!!!
and since I've developed him completely he has become even more enjoyable to draw and work with in my various projects.
(He was my 1st choice for Indy!)

*MAYOR ADAM WEST*
Like Kevin, Mayor West, was already precast. I can so see him as Marcus Brody, with the crazy mayor adding his own quirks to the character.

Whew!!! have I been busy on DA recently.

asked me to help run her new Family Guy club, and I said yes.

Well I've had to learn how to do stuff that I've never fooled with on DA like modifying by journals and adding affilites and such.

Well I'm sure I'll get the hang of it...

Anyhow, I found a free vector drawing program called Inkscape and have started to learn about how to draw vectors.
(BOY ARE THEY HARD!!!)
A hell of a lot harder an bitmaps that's for sure.
But I find this stuff fascinating!!! for I wish to draw my comics in vector format so I can get nice clean lines and get finite details in the distance to look right.

I do not like drawing in pencil for if somethings is scaled wrong I have to erase the whole thing...
The plan... once I master vectoring is to draw all my art in PaintNET then vector them in Inkscape...
(A whole lot of work but I want to become a excellent cartoonist, so the effort is worth it!)

Actually I like Inkscape and PaintNET better than
Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop because these massive programs can't work on a flash drive they have to install software to the PC itself

With these pogram on my flash drive. I can work on my art work from the school computers and save a trip back to Townsend, which saves $ on gas BIG TIME!!!

Just gota be quiet, I've been bitched at about this many times... (GROAN!!!)

When I pulled into the gym last night, my gym buddies heard this and laughed their butts off!!!
(I was pretty embarassed but hey it not the first time I've made a complete fool of myself.)

Well it been a couple of days since my last entry, but I'm feeling a whole lot better.
(I can finally EAT AGAIN!!!)

I raided 3 whole pizzas yesterday, and made myself sick all over again, but a good sick. AKA: being full!!!

Anyhow on to business...

Well I've been working on my FG/indy pieces and am loving how they are coming out, I will finish Kevin as Indy for the 4 films then move on to the next characters, Marion, Sallah, Henery Jones Sr. Etc:

But the main thing is I've decided that I plan on creating a FG/Comic for the original trilogy and possibly Crystal Skull...
It will be in the same format as my Titanic comic...

Now the big news...(After long contemplation...)

I've decided that I will actually do the WHOLE movie of Titanic (1997) in FG comic format as well as the original Indy trilogy and Crystal Skull!!!

J-Dog YOU'RE NUTS!!! That's hrs of film!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But here is the reason I've decided to undertakes such a MASSIVE project...

"I've decided that I want to be a professional cartoonist..."

and even changed my major from undecided to an arts degree...
all I want to do is draw and workout!!!
(That's my life in a nutshell right now...)

These massive projects would give me a ton of practice in drawing the human form which I want to master...
(FG Style s an easy way to learn this; and once I master it I can move to more complex styles...)

I main thing in debate is how much comedy I wish to add to the original stories...
(I want to say true to the stories and not deviate too much from the original screenplays for Indy or Titanic...)

I will finish drawing all the characters from Indy and Titanic in all their outfits used during the movies.

Once these test pages are done I will begin to draw pages with about 8 panels in each page, Note these will be random as I will not start from the begining of each film.

A great deal will be dialouge pages with complex background scenes saved for later...
(I gonna be a challenge to draw the sinking scenes or Indy's blow by blow fights...)

Well I've been out for a few days, why well I had to go to the hospital for a few days.
I don't know how just I got severe inflamation in my esouahgus (I can't Spell!!)

I could only eat liquid foods , PT shakes, Soup etc:
But even those hurt and BAD!!!
Any time I swallowed it felt like someone was stabbing me in the chest...
(I HATE having those IV's stuck in my arm...)


Fortunately, the antibiotics the doctor gave me have been doing their job and I've started to feel like my old self again.
I may even get back into the gym tomorrow, I hope...
(I haven't been in since I got this little prroblem.)

Anyhow, I tried to work on some pieces today,
I worked on my FG/Titanic Comic.

and I drew Kevin as Indiana Jones...
(THE NEW MOVIE IS AWESOME!!!)

After claasses tomorrow I plan on putting the final touches on chap 3 of "When Kevin Met Meg"
and If things go right it will be uploaded by the end of the week...
